Bahrain Starts COVID-19 Vaccine Campaign

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain began on Wednesday (December 16, 2020) giving the Coronavirus vaccine, as the call center affiliated with the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus started calling those registered to receive the vaccine.
The number of registered individuals on the first day of opening the e-door reached about 8,000. China's Sinopharm vaccine, which has proven its effectiveness during various stages of clinical trials, will be used, the national medical team has confirmed.
The Health Ministry announced starting the e-registering for taking the vaccine on Sunday (December 13, 2020). The national team said that "Pfizer-Sputnik" vaccine will be also given in the campaign that aims at administering the vaccine to 5,000 to 10,000 citizens every day.
