Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): In a very clear move, Riyadh turned its back on Manama despite its cries and complaints against Qatar and its media. Saudi Arabia, the largest and most powerful country in the GCC system, is no longer paying attention to what Bahrain's official media reiterates on the daily. 

Riyadh does not care that Bahrain has become a boxing bag for Al-Jazeera and the Qatari media arsenal after the signing of the Al-Ula summit agreement.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud's statement on August 3, 2021 in which he said that Al-Ula agreement has resolved the disputes and proved its effectiveness in promoting Gulf unity, is a clear declaration that Saudi Arabia is satisfied with the agreement and its results. The Saudi minister plainly expresses his intention by saying that "relations with Qatar are very good, and Riyadh is working with it on several issues." The statements were reported by Saudi Arabia's Al-Sharq Al-Awsat TV.

Saudi Arabia treats Qatar as a useful country, a country that does not ask for money every two months, a country with a presence in the capitals of the world, and the capitals of the region, a country with useful financial, economic and military partnerships, while Bahrain and its king have only a list of requests and complaints that they don't want to look weak in front of the national opposition.

Reality reflects the opposite of what is said in the statements made by the Bahraini Prime Minister after the escalation of the Saudi-UAE dispute, that his government believes that relations with Riyadh are well-established strategic relations.

Bahrain, in a way or another, tends to the UAE, which knew how to buy the elite of the government in Bahrain, and even make ties with them to establish a blood bond with the government, represented by Nasser bin Hamad, son-in-law of the UAE's Prime Minister, the powerful ruler of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

It was noteworthy that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed arrived for a brief visit to Bahrain, during which he met with the king, his sons and a number of officials, all from the ruling family. It was a very quick visit, a message of support saying that Bahrain does not stand alone in the face of Qatar.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan said the Al-Ula agreement "resolved disputes", according to the Saudi Al-Sharq TV.

It is over, the authorities of Manama, which once prepared their territory for Saudi, Emirati and other forces to strike and invade Qatar, have to let go of the "calendar of Bahrain and Zubarah".
