King Issues Decree Establishing Bahrain Agricultural Development Company with Less than 4 Million Budget

Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued royal decree 88 of 2021 establishing the Bahrain Agricultural Development Company, "a Bahraini closed joint-stock company".
The most important purposes for which the company was established include: developing and investing agricultural land in areas specified by the company's board of directors, planting and harvesting all kinds of crops and processing seeds for reproduction, trading and selling raw agricultural materials, and owning the necessary real estate and transportation to start its work.
The statute set the company's authorized capital at BD 10 million, and the capital issued and paid at BD3.939 million, spread over 39.393 million shares with a nominal value of 100 fils per share
