Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society mourned the late great Saudi researcher and historian Abdul Khaleq Al-Janabi, who "investigated the history of Bahrain and its scientific, poetic and historical heritage."

Al-Wefaq expressed in a statement its condolences to "Al-Janabi's honorable family and his lovers," and asked God to "have mercy on him and inspire his family with patience and fortitude."
