Bahrain Mirror: Inmates at Bahrain's Jaw Central Prison confirmed that political prisoner Yousef Hasan Mohammad suffered sudden health problems, leading to his transfer to the prison infirmary. However, the Jaw Prison administration refused to transfer him to the hospital for treatment.
The inmates stated that Hassan exhibited several symptoms, including sudden collapses, tremors, loss of consciousness, yellowing of the skin, and excessive sweating.
After stalling, the prison administration allowed Yousef, who is serving a life sentence, to be transferred to the prison infirmary on Friday, April 26, 2024. Despite his condition not improving significantly, he was returned to the building where he is serving his sentence in the prison early the next morning. He was transferred again on Saturday, April 27, 2024, to the prison infirmary after experiencing a similar episode.
