Bahrain Mirror: The authorities in Bahrain have released Sheikh Fadel Al-Zaki, who was summoned for questioning on Sunday, June 2, 2024, regarding his posts about the so-called "security permit" for visiting holy sites.
In his posts on the formerly Twitter "X" platform on Saturday, Sheikh Al-Zaki asserted that "visiting the Imams of Ahlulbayt (a.s) is a religious rite that does not require permission from anyone," adding, "If the choice is between visiting with a permit or refraining from it for years, the latter is correct, and the conscious and religious believer will choose nothing else."
Emphasizing that "visiting the Imams (a.s) is a religious rite and an inherent right recognized by religion and the constitution," he warned that "accepting the principle of obtaining a permit is a grave error because whoever grants the permit today may deny it tomorrow. There is no difference whether I get the permit myself or the religious tour agency obtains it for me."
