Bahrain Mirror: Abdullah Habib Swar, a political prisoner held in Jaw Central Prison, complained about the prison administration preventing inmates from any movement within the prison.
In an audio recording on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, Swar said, "The prison administration prevented me from attending a session at the Special Investigations Unit of the Public Prosecution, and it prevents prisoners from any external movements such as going to their hospital appointments and trial sessions." He emphasized that "if a prisoner moves, the prison administration puts them in isolation under harsh conditions."
He mentioned that he has been suffering from a hip injury for 11 months and tendon inflammations, for which he has not received necessary treatments such as examinations, X-rays, and MRI scans.
