On November 11, 2020, Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa died. On the same day, a royal decree was issued appointing crown prince Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa as premier . The new prime minister didn't replace any minister, but promised to do so in a press interview he conducted recently.
