The death of Wahid Rashid Al-Dosari, chairman of the Bahrain Fishermen Society (BFS), was announced late Tuesday (April 6, 2021). Al-Dosari was sentenced to a five-year prison sentence over charges of receiving funds from a former Qatari minister to finance his election campaign in 2018.
