Amnesty International sent an appeal yesterday to release prisoner of conscience Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja.

Zaynab Al-Khawaja, daughter of prisoner of conscience Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja, confirmed that her father "will not be broken and will not be silenced". She refuted the statement of Bahrain's representative at the inter-parliamentary union, Jamal Fakhro, who claimed that her father was not tortured.

Zaynab Al-Khawaja recalled in a series of Tweets the night her father, prisoner of conscience Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja, was arrested 11 years ago.
